I'm now a Orthopedic nurse on a 10 bed unit - which is a nice change. Not ashamed to admit the last job was too much stress for me - so I've pruned back my ambition to a nice little country hospital here in the Great White North. Sometimes, less is more.

My job is (still) insanely stressful, so I come here to unwind, natter on and occasionaly write. I'm a contradiction in terms, a stub, a stench and miserably flawed. My personal mercies are highly suspect. I'm a psychonaut, disguised in plain sight. I'm a big goofy, swinging, stooge. I have the worst case of professional personality disorder you've ever seen; who I am here is not who I am in the "real world". Perhaps that says more about the "real" world than myself - but, meh...

I play the bass guitar and the piano well enough to suit my own needs. I speak English and German and a smattering of a few other languages. My favorite color is Prussian blue. I wear Coco Madmoiselle perfume. I smoke Djarum Blacks whenever I can get my fiending little claws around a pack. I'm fat and white. My neck hurts. I have impulse control issues. Me me me.

I have six cats, an ancient farm-house on a large hill in the middle of nowhere and a skinny husband who smokes too much grass. I'd like more cats. My tribe is awesome!

I have met and gotten to know so many interesting people here on LJ - thanks for the fun, one and all and to you reading this, I hope you've found me an interesting addition in your day, possibly your life. Let's all enjoy this while we can because tomorrow never knows...
