For Pinky Pie:
Skyfire was sulking, he was at 'home' high up on a cliff and just resting with his paws on the edge while looking out over the land. Really, he didn't want to be here anymore. He'd all but managed to convince himself that the world with the ponies, talking animals and such was all a dream... but then, why did he miss it so. Was he that lonely that he was finally loosing his mind?

For everyone else:
Skyfire was trying to tidy up his home again and attempting to figure out what to do now. He'd spent so long trying to convince himself that Equestria was all a dream, that now he was finding he was having a hard time convincing himself it was real and he was expecting to 'wake up' at any moment.

Today is just a quiet Sunday in Ponyville and out at Satyagraha Farm -- or as quiet as it ever is since the lost offworlders came pouring back into Equestria, many of them finding lodging at the commune once more. Still, Andrew has managed to retain the shed for a workspace…and as a matter of fact, he's been rather scarce outside its walls for the past week or two.

This morning is slightly different. Rather than slip away into the shed as soon as he's awake, Andrew heads into town instead. He's cheerful enough should he run into anyone along the way, but he doesn't linger to chat. He just buys one spool of heavy gauge wire and makes a beeline back to the commune to disappear once more into the shed. He emerges once more later in the day to fetch a sandwich and a banana for a late lunch, and then --

The initial explosion causes relatively little physical damage apart from blowing the shed's door off its hinges and the glass out of its windows. It's the bright blue light that follows, expanding outward with a deafening screech heard not entirely with one's ears, that will knock many ponies flat. It rips through the commune and blasts across the countryside on its way to Ponyville, leaving oblivion in its wake --




Today is just a quiet Sunday in Ponyville and out at Satyagraha Farm -- or as quiet as it ever is since the lost offworlders came pouring back into Equestria. The sun is shining, the birds are singing, and the piebald harbinger of the apocalypse is on his cheerful way into town to buy a spool of heavy gauge wire.

It was good to be back in Ponyville again, but it was bittersweet. He had friends here, yes, but once this was all done, he knew he'd have to be back in Waverly Bay, to help with their troubles there. His time here was limited, and he had to make the best of it. Strengthen his bonds with his friends, and learn all he can from them to keep their memories alive, wherever he might be taken in this crazy universe. He's gotten a lot already, but there's one thing he's always wanted to be able to do, which is why a quick scroll message was sent out to Gentarou, along with a time and location:

"I want to learn the Rider Kick. Think you could help with that?"

[If anything- Cirno was nervous. She was never good at speaking and this was important. Important enough to ask for help with what to do and say when she finally got to speak with the Mayor.

It took a bit, because she asked for a bit of time to prepare what to say and know exactly how to say it. So there the small pegasus stood, trying to look not nervous at all and get ready to at least try and recite what Patchouli had written for her. Once it was her turn, Cirno took a deep breath and stepped forward, trying to remember her manners...what little she had at least.]

After a day filled with reunions the streets of Ponyville grew quiet as night fell. Long after young fillies had been put to bed and as after-hour cleaning ended in shops another burst of rainbows lit up the town square, leaving behind a lone figure.

In the dark he stumbled forward, panting loudly as if he had just been sprinting. The grey unicorn squinted heavy bloodshot eyes towards the lit windows in houses nearby and the light leaking into the street from the Ponyville Tavern. He was back in Ponyville. Under the untamed beard growing from his snout he smiled.

He licked dry lips, voice lost at first. "M-must not forget," he reminded himself and started to drag his heavy hooves in the direction of the tavern. "No I-" He gave a cry and clutched his head, his eyes stung as they flashed for a moment with light. "C-Calice! Leave me! I won't let you make me... forget!"

He struggled for a moment, then his horn lit and a buzzing green light emerged from his coat pocket. With a dramatic wave of his Sonic Screwdriver, the tavern wall in front of him began cracking. A minute he struggled. Then all at once everything went still again. The unicorn and the sonic screwdriver dropped to the ground. On the tavern wall in front of him the cracks had become letters.

There's a shimmering in the town square. A few people are missing, still. Late to the party, as it were. Not any more.

Rainbows burst from the sky, beaming straight down to the ground and holding for a few seconds as it teleports in something rather larger than the rest of the arrivals so far. And when it dies down, and the smoke clears, there it is:

A schoolbus?

The door opens and a red bear bursts out of the doors, grinning widely. Hard to believe she's back. She takes a deep breath and sings:
