I love musical theatre although I do not get chances to catch many shows where I am - make do mostly with the odd show and mainly cast albums and recordings. I have a huge collection of albums built up over the years... very expensive hobby, this... :-)
I adore performers who to me fulfills the 3 all important "T's" - (1) talented, (2) true to his/herself and .. ahem.. (3) tall. Which kinda explains my all time favourite entertainers John Barrowman, Kris Phillips (Fei Xiang), Anthony Warlow, Barry Manilow, Michael Ball and Linda Eder. I also love Babs, Lea Salonga and Jose Mari Chan although minus the 3rd "T" .... :-)
Would recommend that readers check out Kris Phillips (Fei Xiang) - Asia's first idol and biggest superstar, on YouTube - he is fantastic! His 2004 "The Broadway Album" with stage classics in English and Mandarin is a true gem. Check out my userpics for photos.
Am also an avid reader of novels dealing with sci-fi, time travel, historical romance, comedy, biographies and occasionally the odd chick lit (light reading :-)).
