About Me
Some of my goals on Dreamwidth are: make friends, engage in discussion, write (whether solo or collaboratively). Due to repeated incidents of plagiarism, I'll be locking entries with my creative works and about my personal life; feel free to comment if you want to be added.
Personality stuff under the cut, for those interested in that sort of thing.
Enneagram: Type 6, wing 5, sp/so/sx
Myers-Briggs Type Indicator: ISTJ
Philosophy: Existentialism
Economic Left/Right: -8.75
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -7.44
PolitiScales: Justice - Ecology - Humanity
Hobbies: Reading, writing, thinking, video games.
Interests: Psychology (particularly minor attraction/paedophilia), original characters/fiction, German history/culture/language, horror (particularly cosmic horror), roleplaying, classical music, literature, enneagram, neurodiversity/disability rights.
On the discussions front: My belief is that everyone deserves to be treated with basic dignity and respect. I prioritise empirical evidence and data over anecdotes and emotional appeals. I have deeply negative feelings about antis and callout culture, hate speech and its proponents (i.e. homophobia, transphobia, racism/white supremacy), conservatives, people who engage in bad faith, and perceived predatory behaviour, particularly towards minors. While I have no desire to go "on the attack," I may choose not to engage with anyone who expresses these beliefs or behaviours.
I judge political moderates, minor-attracted persons (MAPs), pro-shippers, transmedicalists/truscum, and religious folk on a case-by-case basis, but have a different baseline attitude for each.
Despite how all of this sounds, I swear I don't bite — much. Transparency is the name of the game with me, and I expect at minimum a mutual respect of boundaries in my relationships. I figure the easiest way to establish that is to be upfront.
Anyway, enough chatter. If everything I've written sounds good to you, thanks for reading. Feel free to leave a comment and I'll check you out.

I'm Cecil (he/him), I'm a mortician-turned-tattoo artist in the stinky state of Texas. I talk a lot about the supernatural, tattooing, dead people, my boyfriend and dog, and handyman stuff. Most of my stuff is public so take a look at my stuff if you'd like, and if you're interested we can add each other.

FYI, since starting this journal, most of my locked posts are about my personal life, creative endeavours, and reflections on MAPs and minor attraction (almost always with a content warning and under cut text). If that sounds good to you, I'd be happy to grant you access and add you back — just thought I'd let you know in case this description is different from what you were expecting, haha.

Long story short: It's no problem buddy. I look forward to reading your journals <3 Add me back if you'd like! I have nothing to hide in my locked posts, other than embarrassing sex stories haha

(And same with being flinchy — which is why DW is pretty much the only active social media I have.)

Though, as a warning, I'm silly in general and gush about fictional boys often more than I talk about serious things, hah.

Again, not wanting to start shenanigans, but since I'm very much "proship" in that sense of the word, I thought I'd ask so there's no misunderstandings.

I have no quarrels with the core ideas behind pro-shipping, as you've written them — that would make me an out-and-out hypocrite! But I've met more self-identified pro-shippers than I'd like who don't seem to understand that "all" does mean "all," and who will make concessions to anti-shippers that fictional incest/bestiality/relationships between adults and minors/bigotry/etc. are disgusting, why would anyone like them. Furthermore, some of them will discriminate against people who have paraphilias (abnormal attractions) yet don't act on them, and I firmly believe that why someone enjoys fiction should have no bearing on whether they are allowed to do so.
TL;DR: Align with pro-ship ideas, cautious about trusting everyone who uses the label. I hope that clears things up!

And yes, I have met the same kind of "proshippers", and it's pretty silly, imho. All does mean all, the end. Personally, I feel iffy about RPF of underaged celebrities, but in the end, it's still fiction, and I'll just not read it, the end.

I agree.

And yes, same — as far as fiction goes, I have a few limits myself, RPF of underaged celebrities being one of them, certain kinks and fetishes — but I curate my online spaces and never see them. It's almost as if you have to be actively looking for them to see this stuff in the first place xD

I'd love to have mutual access, if that is completely fine! I am fairly new to this site and trying to weave my way around and find similar minded people who also adore original characters with taboo themes and such!
