Jarjammed mods

The incipisphere is a wide, open world, and there are a great number of things you can get up to there. This is the post in which you can QUERY THE MODS in regards to plot ideas you have, or even just asking about specific things you'd like to have happen to your character. Do so, and we can jam with you about whether or not said ideas can occur.

Things this post is for:

• Asking about having a more personal one on one between your Derse dreamer and the horrorterrors.
• Queries about things like interacting with your personal Denizen, asking tricky questions of your sprite, or hoping for a chance to speak with an Exile.
• Any large player run plots you'd like to organize, whether it be optional or mandatory.
• Suggestions for more general jamjar style tomfoolery that you'd like the mods to consider, likely as a result of the glitches in the game.
• Any other miscellaneous plot bits that you need mod approval on, or need NPC contributions.
• Asking if your character can acquire a tiger.

All comments are screened to avoid spoiling any possible surprises. We are also happy to field plot questions on our personal AIMs, though you may be asked to hold your horses long enough for us to have a group huddle before receiving approval on more complicated items.

This post is for two things!

• For people to submit events from their characters' canons to be seen in the clouds of Skaia;
• and for people playing Derse dreamers to submit questions for their characters to ask the Noble Circle of Horrorterrors, should they choose to engage them.

As mentioned on the miscellaneous game abstractions page, awakened Prospit dreamers can see visions of the past, present and future in the clouds of Skaia when the moon of Prospit passes through the clouds, whereas Derse dreamers can hear the whispers of the Horrorterrors when the Derse moon's orbit takes it deepest into the Furthest Ring. For the sake of convenience, this occurs once a week. Prospit dreamers can see the cloud visions simply by looking out of a window, whereas Derse dreamers will have to stare into the dark, vaguely tentacley void beyond Derse and directly ask questions to hear anything more than indistinct mumbling.

It would be really impractical to try to have people actually see the future in an RP, so we are mostly going to rely on visions of events from characters' canons for Skaia's clouds. These can have occurred before or after the point you took your character from, and they can be frivolous or serious – anything from the angsty truth about your character's parents that they never found out until now, to a vision of your character doing something horribly embarrassing. Comment here with a description of what you'd like to be shown, but remember the clouds are visuals only.

As for Dersites – if you're playing a Derse dreamer and they're going to be asking the Horrorterrors questions this week, you can leave them as comments to this post.

If you're commenting for cloud visions, put PROSPIT in the comment title; if you're asking something the Horrorterrors something, put DERSE. Your character doesn't have to be awake, or even a Prospit dreamer, for you to submit visions, but to ask Horrorterror questions your character has to have an awakened Derse dream self.

Both Horrorterror answers and Skaian cloud visions will be posted in the weekly game updates every Friday. Dersites' questions will be answered in the game update on the Friday after you submit them, whereas Prospitians' cloud visions could be stored in our visionpouches for weeks to come before we post them. If you've got a cloud vision that's time sensitive, though, for example a revelation about your character that you want others to see on a specific weekend, say so and we will do our best to accommodate it!

The game's setting is the Incipisphere, a strange dimension occupied by bizarre peoples and growing ever more complicated as each new player brings new variables with them. This page is an attempt at explaining that shit.

The core of the Incipisphere is the Medium. At its centre is Skaia, which is orbited by Prospit. The players' planets are further out; further still lies the Veil, and beyond that, Derse and the Furthest Ring. LET'S LEARN ABOUT THEM.
