Foot smells like chicken? Colin called this scene "a special moment" and then Bradley stuck his feet in his face and asked him how they smelled.

Bradley probably isn't a footballer because everyone knew his legs were made for dance. This is also why later in life he developed Dancer's Hip. Sadly, ASH never stopped making fun of him for it. (ASH has danced his whole life and never got Dancer's Hip, not even that time with the leather and the panties and the make-up.)

This business makes me want to catch up on SGA and start seriously reading fic again. I miss those boys. Not as much as I want a second season of Merlin right this instant, but still. I miss them.

A little TMI: Ladies, you might think your period is pretty bad. You might have crazy cramps, or uncontrollable mood swings, or any of the other random and insane things that are the real reason "hysteric" is named after female genitalia.

I don't really get terrible cramps. I mean, I get cramps, and I get moody, and sentimental, and I lose my appetite but crave sugar and raw steak. Whatever, it happens.

The point is that on a non-cycle day I already have this crazy superpower where I can smell everything and hear everything, and every taste is almost over-whelming and a tap on my arm is like a punch to yours. And then when I actually hit my period? It's like if Superman were the norm and I were Superman for Superman.

For instance: On a regular day, I can smell pregnancy. Some lady walks past me and I know. It's not a good smell. Pregnant ladies make me very uncomfortable for this reason. But when I'm on my lady time? Or my lady time is coming up? I can smell other people having lady time. I can hear my roommate's cellphone go off on vibrate from across the house. Tap water tastes like someone peed in it. Cashmere feels like sandpaper.

This is not cool. I can handle the food smelling and tasting extra weird because food already tastes and smells weird to me, but there are things you should not know about complete strangers and that includes whether or not they are on their period, or pregnant.

Eugh. I hate being in overdrive on top of overdrive.

An amazing entry for harlequinmerlin where Arthur, Merlin and Lancelot are rowers at Oxford and Morgana and Gwen are there and Will is somewhere nearby and Merlin has his powers but doesn't really get it. It pulls things from the show and from all sorts of other places together neatly in one bundle that is strangely addicting. I don't think you fully need to read all of the explanatory notes, though I'll admit I've gotten some of them confused because of not reading them. There's a lot of specialized language for rowing and Oxford, apparently. Who knew?

Woods for the Trees by hackthis [Merlin/Arthur]
A short contemporary Au where Merlin and Arthur live together but sleeping with each other would probably ruin things, so Arthur tries to keep things platonic. Tries, and fails.

Job Orientation by Seperis [Merlin/Arthur]
Where Arthur is King and Merlin thinks he knows what's going on except he's somehow missing all of the key elements. Very sweet.
