My Dreamwidth is an actual journal. What I mean by that is that I don't use this site as a social network or a blog. It is my primary journal, and as such my journal entries are long, frequent, full of photos, and never behind a cut tag. I write about the things I do and the things I think. I tend towards strong language, as well as topics and images that you may find NSFW. So if you don't like reading anything longer than 140 characters or are concerned about losing your job, I'm probably not the friend for you.

I also talk frankly and often in great detail about real-life events that some people may find upsetting— consider this your blanket content warning.

I like to fill my friends page with people who write a lot in their own journals, primarily about actual things they do or things that are happening in their lives. If your journal is just about current events in the news or political headlines, I can get that information from Google; I'd rather learn about who you are and what you're up to.
