Today is more of a relived happy day.

At work I discovered my wallet was not in my pocketbook. SurpriseFace!

I spent the rest of the day - NOT PANICKING. The huge relief of finding my wallet at home, on my desk (where I undoubtedly left it) made me very very happy.*

Iris in November

I bravely tackled grocery shopping the weekend before Thanksgiving. It could have been worse. The store could have been out of wine.

As a pick-me-up and reward for braving the wild grocery hunt I bought home this small bouquet of iris.

I am determined to find a bright spot in my day when I can. And yes, that is a Tardis on my bookshelf :)

I love these things. It's the perfect time of year for them and I'll crunch into them like apples.

Yes! One of my all time favorite movies is streaming on Netflix this month.

I was muchly missed at work. So much so, my co-worker greeting me with flowers and a very sincere (desperately relived sounding) "We're so glad you're back."

Because - yes! - I am the sort of grandmother that puts a framed collage of her grandchildren on the wall using cardboard from a six pack of beer for the back.

In other news, I'm very excited to be starting the Blowtober challenge again. Writing slashly porn is hard. This is a challenge for everyone, at any comfort level, to give it a shot and stretch those porn writing wings.

This BJF tag will give you a very good preview of coming Blowtober events. *G*

It is finally cool enough to turn off the air conditioner and use the screen door. Wheeee!
