Welcome to my journal. Mckaysmonkey is my pen name for Livejournal and Dreamwidth. I also post on Wraithbait as codemonkey.

If you don't already know me, these are the basics:
I write fanfiction, mostly in the Stargate Atlantis fandom. I like most of the SGA characters but my favourite is Rodney McKay, played by David Hewlett.
I love lots of other shows, movies, books but I'm not active in other fandoms (yet).
If you need to know the other stuff, I'm a single mum, with a son in college, I live in Wales (not where they film Torchwood), I'm a computer programmer by day, and I'm a little bit addicted to minecraft PE.
