I'm in Dallas now. A new chapter, though in my heart I will always love New Orleans...
I have been around long enough not to be a Goth anymore. So maybe I'm just dark? They Might Be Giants is the soundtrack to much of my life. That and Depeche Mode. Or The Smiths. Dresden Dolls, Scissor Sisters, Tears for Fears, Johnny Cash...I'm eclectic. Black is my colour, except when it's deep purple or red. Or British Racing Green. Lotus Elises rock, so do big-ass old muscle cars, and McLaren F1s. But if someone parked an Audi R8 in my driveway, I wouldn't object. I drive a black 2004 Honda Civic Si. I'd love to own a Citroen DS21. Driving lessons from Tony Stewart. Or Tony Kanaan. Or Petter Solberg. But not Jimmie Johnson. I miss Farscape Buffy, Angel, Firefly and Battlestar Galactica. Project Runway, Mythbusters, Torchwood, Top Gear, and Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares are what I watch on a regular basis. Sushi is life. So is hockey, espcially the Stars. England is lush, green, beautiful, and some of the best people I know live there. I'm an Anglophile. I think everything goes with black velvet. Except when it goes with PVC. Or latex. Or lace. Or leather. Corsets rock. And gloves. And boots. I need more boots. I won't wear any other athletic shoe but Chucks. I live with the only person I have ever truly loved. And three aliens, um, cats. I miss Scooter, a lot. I work on Microsoft networks, when I have a job. I have an ancient Sun workstation that I want to learn how to take over the world with, but I never can find the parts. I have few friends, but many acquaintances. I'm blessed to be part of a leather family, one that loves me for who I am. I also wish that certain people would just die, thank you very much. Martinis are better than I imagined. New Orleans is a wonderful city, but I have a love/hate relationship sometimes with it, and post-Katrina, it's not the same. I want to live near the Quarter, but not in it. Except I'll change my mind and decide I really could live in the Quarter...So I ended up in Dallas, which has wonderful people, a great leather scene and a fabulous GLBT community. And I love Atlanta. I want to visit SF, England, Chicago, Denver, Portland, OR. I attend the Southern Comfort Conference annualy, and have attended Living in Leather, South Plains Leatherfest, TES30, TESFest and SELF. I want to own another motorcycle, probably a Triumph.
