[Simon had been out on his morning run, thinking very deep thoughts. Because yes, on occasion, he does have those. At the moment, he's sitting on the edge of the fountain in the center of the village, catching his breath for a few moments and just... watching people. Life here. It's made him a little homesick.

Which is why, after a few minutes, he reaches for his journal and flips open a feed to whoever else might be up and about.]

So. Say you wanted to bring someone else here from home? Or like, several people? Could you do it? Is there someone you could speak to to make that happen? Someone you could bribe? Can you pay mission points to get someone taken?

[He doesn't expect that question to go over well with some. He's seen most people's opinions of being kidnapped and trapped here where they don't want to be. But compared to his home... At the moment, he'd like nothing better than for the benevolent fates that dragged him here to drag a few more.]

Action: Locked to residents and guests of House 51; Early Saturday morning. )

[Action: Saturday morning into the rest of the day.]
[Simon had heard about the mallynaps in his brief time in Luceti of course. Some of the strange results people came back with. Different memory, loss of a particular sense. If someone had warned him along the way that genderswapping was thing, he'd missed the PSA. After a rather disorienting and partially traumatizing wake-up this morning (he still wasn't sure who'd come out of that whole ordeal more horrified, even if he was leaning towards hilariously amused at the moment. Who said the Mallies didn't have a sense of humor?) he sets out to investigate the pros and cons of this new trick, figuring he might as well make the best of it while it lasts.

Because hey, if he's going to be female, might as well find out what all the fuss is about, right? It's not like this was ever going to happen to him back home, or that he'd have chosen it on purpose but hell, why not? There are certainly worse things he could have been turned into. Like a chicken. A rhinoceros. Phil.

Of course, he starts the first day out trying to stick to his normal routine of exercise, working with what he has, but his clothes fit all wrong, and as they're all guys from Abel in his immediate vicinity, he's very obviously missing some key items in his wardrobe. Aborting his run far too early, he ends up back in his own home and grabbing for his journal, hoping the village at large will help him.

Mostly because Eugene's still not talking to him, he suspects he may have broken Jack, and Sam can't look at him without turning beet red and sputtering incomprehensibly.]

[Hello, Luceti, there's an unfamiliar female making a video transmission in your journals, looking a little frazzled and exasperated.]

So I need some help from... well, people of the female persuasion. How the bloody hell do you function? Remind me to never again make fun of Five for bringing back all those sports bras on supply runs.

...Right, that was confusing wasn't it? Sorry. Today's been... well, it's been a day. And the Mallies have sort of sent me back with a different set of bits than the ones I left with. And I've got no bloody clue what I'm even doing, so...

Yeah, the point being is... uh. What do I need to know to survive being a girl? I guess?

...That's officially the weirdest question I've ever had to ask. Is it too early for a drink?

((OOC note: Simon's been mallynapped for the past few weeks and returning bright and early this morning as... well. You can see. He'll be female (Simone?) for the next week or two and will quite happily accept helpful advice from anyone while he figures this madness out. And once his new curves stop giving him problems, he'll probably even enjoy it.))

[Action; Late afternoon in Good Spirits Bar]
[Simon jolts awake in unfamiliar surroundings with a start and a bitten-off curse.

He'd dozed off, he remembered that. Janine was on a rampage and Simon knew well enough to stay out of her way until she'd vented it on some other poor unfortunate soul. But this... this was certainly not his perch overlooking the quad. Or anywhere else in Abel he recognized.

He was in... a bathroom? Well. He'd woken up in worse places, but it's been a while. He didn't like it any better now. Especially when he saw what he was wearing. Or not wearing. And when the reflection in the mirror over the sink had him stopping short and staring in disbelief at the yellow feathered appendages sprouting from his back.

...Shite. What the hell was he tripping on?

He didn't stick around to find out, staggered for the door and tumbled out into the large room beyond. The room well lit and full of people and scents he hadn't smelled in ages. He stared in utter disbelief for a moment, knowing that he'd caused quite a few eyes to stop and stare at him in turn. The crazy guy with wings staggering out of the bathroom in a panic. Only they all had wings too. And they weren't the people he'd expected to find. The good or the bad.

Alright. He officially had no idea what was going on right now.]

Uh, right. None of you are zombies. Right? Right. That's bloody brilliant. Will someone tell me where the hell I am and who the hell you are?

[.... A pause as his eyes land on the glasses, then wander the room he's in, finally taking it all in. A look of delight flashes across his face.] Is that beer? Sweet Jesus, tell me there's beer.

[A few pint-fueled explanations later, Simon's venturing out into the town, taking in the sights of a real gods-to-honest un-apocalypsed town. With real, unbitten people. No fences, no barricades, no ramshackle shelters. And actual shops.

So he looks a little bit like a kid on his first trip to Disney World, but it's been a while since he's seen so much... well, everything, honestly.

He pokes his head into the shops here and there - especially if they've got food, because the scents alone are pretty much enough to make this seem like paradise, let alone the food itself. And if you pass him on the street, expect to get talked at. Or at least flashed an exuberant grin as he takes it all in and greets most people he comes across.

Maybe it's an unusual reaction for new arrivals in Luceti to be so thrilled with the knowledge of their unexpected abduction, but Simon doesn't care. This place is amazing.]
