Permissions - The Echo
Feb. 15th, 2014 02:08 pmAs one of the many that are chosen by the goddess Hydaelin to be her representative in Eorzea, Gaia is is blessed with a very rare, but very powerful ability known as the Echo.
The Echo allows a person to 'see into the depths of a person's heart, look into their souls, and see their past.' Not only is Gaia capable of seeing portions of a person's past in small snippets and with varying degrees of importance, but she is, on a much smaller level, capable of interacting with the things she sees, but incapable of changing them. However, being able to interact with a past vision is a rarer aspect of the echo, and depending on the level of importance of the memory she is seeing, will be left with various side effects. Anything from minor headaches to being out cold for several days is possible, depending on the importance of the memory. A small side effect of this function is the ability to understand most words spoken to the one blessed with the Echo, even if they are spoken in a long-dead language.
Thusly informed, there's a question I should be asking:
1 - Can Gaia Echo back to a moment in your character's past while interacting with them?
If the answer is 'Yes', then get a hold of me so we can plan out the particulars - Echo visions are usually triggered by something in the conversation, and usually relate to the conversation/matter at hand.
