I am:

• A Single Mother. My son is my sunshine, and my world revolves around him.
  
• A Customer Service Goddess. Accepting tithes and offerings in my inbox, Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. How may I help YOU? My title at my new job is Sales Administrator, and my position is no longer as service-oriented. It's a big change.
  
• A Champion of Equality, Darn It. Just because someone is different from you, has different bits, believes different things, comes from a different background, is attracted to different kinds of people, or has a different kind of job or level of education doesn't make them bad, and it doesn't make them wrong. People are people, and we all deserve to be treated like we matter. Don't be a jerk.
  
• An Eternal Optimist. I believe in happy endings, even if you have to make them yourself (and you probably will). And I believe George Eliot was right: It is never too late -- for anyone -- to be who you might have been.
  
• Insatiably Curious. Like a three-year-old, I cannot stop asking why. It may drive you crazy.
  
• A Bibliophile. Books are my escape. Most of my book collection is fantasy fiction or historical fiction, but I read a little of almost everything. Suggestions are welcome.
  
• Easily Amused. I love to laugh, and I freely admit that my standards of what's funny are pretty low. I'll laugh at almost anything. Except potty humor. That's just gross.
  
• A Music Lover. I’m not a music snob, but I do have standards. And yes, those standards include the Backstreet Boys. But not ‘NSync! See? Standards!
  
• Culturally Deprived. I grew up pretty sheltered from pop culture. While I've been around enough savvy people to understand most of the reference, chances are, I haven't seen the movies or TV shows from which they originated. Fortunately for me, I have good friends who are helping me remedy that.
  
• Learning. I hope I never stop. Every day holds something new.
  
• Better Than I Was. I strive constantly for self-improvement.
  
• A Freak. I admit, I'm really not clear on the details on this one, but I am told by a trusted source that I am incurable. So. Consider yourself warned.
