Born deep underground to a couple of loving yet distant mole-people, I was ostracized and kicked out of the underground community for not being a mole-person, but instead being a human-person. Lost and adrift in a world not filled with the smell of earth and roots hanging overhead, I wandered for many years before settling in a city with too many universities, where I made coffee for almost a decade because the grinds reminded me of my subterranean home.

Now I work for The Man, but doing stuff that The Man wants to shut down because it's too socialist or something. We live in a capitalist hellscape, folks.
