Goblin Week is an event in which you make goblins every day for a week, whatever that means to you.

It's a low-pressure community art project, meant to spread joy and creativity, participants are encouraged to "follow their heart. There are no strict rules. Entries are usually tagged across various platforms under #goblinweek.

2026

This year's goblin week ran from Jan 25th to the 31st.

2025

I participated for the first time in January 2025(Jan 19-25th), here are my entries:

A drawing of a goblin-like creature with long bat-like ears, a pig-like snout, and wearing very light armor over rugged outdoor clothes. The goblin is holding a morning star. A goblin-like creature(Helka) with hair in a untidy mohawk, long wolf-like ears, a large creepy toothy grin, carrying a sort of backback containing a bird-like creature(Yammers). The bird creature is screaming, Ya ya ya! A bird-like creature, wide-eyed, looking a bit distraught, not sure what to do with himself. His mouth is agape, letting out a long Yaaaaaa. The text above reads out of bag Yammers. a goblin with a long pointed snout, long-limbed, with a tuque that is covered in scales. a very small goblin standing next to a red onion. The goblin has hair held up in the air by branches, a pig-like snout and very long pointy ears. The goblin is grinning widely, showing his teeth, eyes round and wide. A goblin named Neils with a mohawk, a pig-like snout, bat-wolf-like ears, and crooked sharp teeth. Neils is long-legged, pot-belled, wearing jeans and a vest with spikes. Neils is sitting on a rock, leaning back against it. A goblin named Jorn with different body proportions on their left and right side (one side has a thinner arm, the other is thicker, same for the legs. One ear is smaller than the other, etc).Jorn has wild unkempt hair, like it is alive, pointing in all directions. Bjorn has hair tied back into a ponytail, they have a face like a foo dog, a furry vest and they're holding a battle axe. The front of the breast plate has a logo(consisting of a male symbol with a stroke, with a male and female symbol around a circle) and a butterfly on it. Elin is sitting on a moss-covered rock, holding a spear, hair brushed on one side, a pig-like snout, heavy armor(shoulder, kneepads with spikes), aheavy eyebrows, bearing her teeth and looking fierce. The front of the armor breast plate has a symbol consisting of a circle with 3 arrows pointing down, as well as a heart.

In order, their names are Arnar, Helka(and Yammers), "out of bag" Yammers, Joi, Hannes, Jorn, Neils, Björn & Elín.
