THOSE ARE THE OPTIONS YOU HAVE
Give him a break. He’s been mostly dead all day.
If a more quotable movie exists I’d like to see it.
you’re also obligated to reblog the princess bride whenever it shows up on your dash, NO EXCEPTIONS

Give a great show like Parks and Recreation a second chance. Just half-an-hour of your time on Thursday nights will make sure that Ron, Leslie, Ben and Tom have a safe home for many years to come*.
*But not Jerry. He’s on his own.
slash is a card & storytelling game where you try and create the best fan fiction romantic couples. Hilarity often ensues.I just got a review copy of this!!! I’m THRILLED THRILLED THRILLED. It is going to replace Cards Against Humanity as my go-to party game.
When I first heard about the project I was kind of worried that it was going to be a big joke about fanfic. NOPE. The folks who made it, made it as a total homage. HEART.
The thing is… they are running a kickstarter and they need to get funded! Go fund it! Go spread the word! Make good things happen!
Dearborn Heights — Police sent a request to the Wayne County Prosecutor’s Office on Wednesday asking for charges to be filed against a resident accused in the fatal shooting of a 19-year-old Detroit woman Saturday in a case of suspected self-defense gone bad.
Renisha McBride, a 19-year-old Detroit woman, was shot in the head with a shotgun by a resident of a home in the 16000 block of Outer Drive near Warren Avenue early Saturday morning after she is believed to have sought help at the home.
The family of McBride said she went for help after a car accident around 2:30 a.m. Saturday. Her cellphone battery had died, her family said.
McBride’s maternal aunt, Bernita Spinks, said the shooting was not justified even if the resident believed her niece was an intruder looking to break into the home.
“He shot her in the head … for what? For knocking on his door,” said Spinks on Tuesday. “If he felt scared or threatened, he should have called 911.”
Spinks praised the latest police’s decision to seek charges against the resident in the shooting of her niece saying “Thank you Jesus! I’m very happy there is progress (on the case).”
Spinks said the family met with officials from the Prosecutor’s Office on Tuesday. Spinks said she believes her niece was the victim of racial profiling.
“You see a young black lady on your porch and you shoot?” Spinks said. “He killed my niece and he needs to pay for it. He needs to be in jail.
“There was no window broken. My niece didn’t bother anyone. She went looking for help and now she’s dead.”
Preliminary autopsy information from the Wayne County Medical Examiner’s Office indicates Renisha McBride was shot in the head with a shotgun. Spinks said the young woman was shot in the back of the head as she turned to walk off the porch of the home where she sought assistance.
A vigil for the young woman, who recently started a job for Ford Motor Co., is scheduled today for 4:45 p.m. in front of the home where she was shot to death.
Services for McBride will be 11 a.m. Friday at House of Prayer and Praise, 16520 Wyoming in Detroit.

Wow, Black life really means NOTHING to people.
When this person gets away with shooting a woman in the back of the head while she was walking away, and calls it self defense or preventing a robbery, will this country admit we have a serious problem?

OK GUYS. In July 2010, I spent about a month in the Volta Region of Ghana. While I was there, I had the chance to spend time at New Seed International, an amazing NGO in the city of Ho. New Seed International provides care and support for people with HIV/AIDS, including a community clinic, an orphanage, and a school.
Esinam, 13, is in the care of New Seed International and she wants to go to school and become a doctor one day, but she needs facial surgery before she can do so. Both of her parents died when she was young, and her grandmother who was taking care of her has recently had a stroke.
Only $130 of her $10,000 goal has been raised in NINE months!
Every dollar helps! And even if you can’t donate, please just reblog this and keep her in your thoughts.

oh my god, you guys, this is unbelievable. We are Tumblr and it is *not acceptable* that we can’t get the word out about this fundraiser and help this girl have the life she wants. It’s just $10,000. We pooped out that much for a new Veronica Mars movie in .000002 seconds, but it’s taken Esinam nine months to get FIVE DONATIONS. We NEED TO DO THIS. We CAN do this.
Stop what you are doing and reblog this post. Go to the donation page. Chip in. Please. If every person reading this just threw in 5 bucks each, we’d be funded overnight. You guys. LET’S FUCKING DO THIS FOR HER.
Reblogging this for the morning crowd and because the executive director at NSI has updated that Esinam’s condition is deteriorating. Please, please chip in whatever you can, and pass this on.
