[Nikon Small World Series] For over 100 years, Nikon’s microscopes have helped make the invisible world visible — supporting advances in a wide range of fields, from science and healthcare to industrial use. Nikon Small World is regarded as the leading forum for showcasing the beauty and complexity of life as seen through the light microscope. Organized by Nikon Instruments Inc., this competition invites anyone with an interest in microscopy and photography to submit their art-like images captured using a light microscope. Here’s one of the winning entries. “Fluorescent turtle embryo” Teresa Zgoda, Teresa Kugler – 2019 View details here: https://lnkd.in/gC2fzCX If you're visiting Tokyo this summer, we invite you to explore the "Nikon Small World / NIKON JOICO AWARD" exhibition at the Tokyo Photographic Art Museum, where award-winning works are on view through Aug. 23, 2026. Nikon’s technology goes farther than you might think. From less than 2.1 nanometers in lithography systems to light-years away with FOCAS (Faint Object Camera And Spectrograph) on the Subaru Telescope, Nikon's technologies enable exploring worlds across every scale. Discover the breadth of innovation at the Nikon Museum in Tokyo, and learn more on our website! Note: the Nikon Museum will be closed Aug. 9–17 for summer break. News Release: Nikon will release the Litho Booster 1000 alignment station in January 2027. Litho Booster 1000 enables highly accurate overlay correction in wafer-to-wafer bonding processes for 3D semiconductor structures. Compared with the previous model, the new system improves measurement accuracy by approximately 35% and productivity by approximately 10%. The Litho Booster 1000 measures the entire wafer surface prior to exposure and feeds forward precise correction data to the lithography system before exposure, contributing to highly accurate overlay correction. We are honored that Nikon has received the JPCA Award, the highest honor at the JPCA Show 2026 hosted by the Japan Electronics Packaging and Circuits Association (JPCA). The award recognized our “Circuit Formation Technology for Hard-to-Plate Substrates Using PAP (Photo Assist Patterning) Photoresponsive Surface Treatment Material”. This technology proposes a new plating method that achieves both smoothness and adhesion. Through independently designed materials and processes, it enables simple conductor formation on glass and organic substrates, which were previously difficult to achieve, while reducing stress on the substrate. It has drawn attention as a technology that is also well suited for use in mass production. Currently under research and development, the technology is expected to advance toward practical and commercial application through further clarification of the adhesion mechanism and additional reliability evaluation. Proud to share this achievement celebrating the 100th anniversary of Nikon’s microscope business. Nikon held a special ceremony at our Global Headquarters, where the final pieces of the mosaic were placed. The record was officially verified and the certificate was presented to Nikon. Congratulations and thank you to everyone around the world who contributed to this remarkable collaboration.🔬
🌍 Across continents, connected by microscopy. To commemorate the 100th anniversary of Nikon's microscope business, Nikon colleagues around the world came together to create the Largest Printed Microscopic Image Mosaic (Logo) — an official GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS™ title holder.* More than 2,800 microscopic images, captured across Japan, Europe, the Americas, and Asia, were assembled into a mosaic artwork spanning 25.2 square meters, forming the Nikon Healthcare 100th Anniversary logo. A fitting tribute to a century of discovery, collaboration, and seeing the world differently, one microscopic image at a time. 🔬 See the artwork in detail 👉 https://lnkd.in/eNMXsmq7 *Officially recognized as a GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS™ title on June 30, 2026. #NikonMicroscopy100 #JOICO #GuinnessWorldRecords #GWR #MosaicArt #Microscopy

When every moment matters, dependable support behind the scenes becomes essential. Nikon Professional Services (NPS) is an indispensable partner for professional photographers. Through Nikon’s worldwide service network, NPS provides equipment cleaning, inspection, repair, and loan services, even when assignments take them beyond their registered NPS membership country or region. That support extends to some of the world’s biggest sporting events. At The Open Championship this July, which Nikon has served as an Official Patron since 1981, NPS will also be onsite to support the professionals capturing one of golf’s most historic tournaments.
