One quantum program. Estimate its cost, then run it on any backend. Qamomile v0.14.0 is now available. Qamomile is JIJ's open-source, Python-based quantum programming language. As quantum hardware advances, more algorithm development is moving onto real devices, which makes both running on hardware and estimating the qubits and gates an algorithm needs increasingly important. Today, though, the two are typically handled with different tools. We are developing Qamomile to tackle these needs. With Qamomile, you can: ・Write Pythonic quantum code — a type system that catches invalid operations early and suggests fixes, plus native Python if/while driven by measurement results ・Call built-in algorithms — ready-made subroutines like QSVT (quantum singular value transformation) instead of reimplementing common patterns ・Estimate resources before you run — qubit and gate counts computed algebraically from a single program, so you see how they grow as the problem scales ・Write once, run anywhere — one program across multiple SDKs, including Qiskit and CUDA-Q, and intermediate representations, with no separate estimation and execution circuits to maintain. This release is another step toward user-friendly quantum algorithm development for both today's quantum devices and future fault-tolerant quantum computing. Grateful to Quantum STrategic industry Alliance for Revolution(Q-STAR) and JETRO - Collaborate & Invest Japan for the chance to represent JIJ on stage at the Global Quantum Forum in Chicago — and a special thank you to Hiro Mori for organizing the Q-STAR delegation and giving us the opportunity to collaborate in the thriving Chicago ecosystem. The highlight of the event was being part of the MOU signing between Q-STAR and the Illinois Quantum and Microelectronics Park (IQMP) — Japan's quantum industry and one of America's boldest quantum initiatives committing to build together.
