Earlier this year, we set out a goal to strengthen dentsu's competitiveness and build a path towards sustainable growth.  This ambition remains unchanged, but our priorities have come into sharper focus. Client expectations are reshaping quickly, and we've chosen to lead that change rather than follow it.  Today, I am pleased to share an update to our Mid-Term Management Plan. We are deliberately focusing where we can create greatest impact, concentrating investment where we have clear competitive advantage, and where client growth and our own are inseparable.  Through our connected growth architecture, we will become an even stronger partner for our clients by making impactful choices and moving with greater agility. This means bringing the full strength of dentsu together as one team to anticipate and solve our clients' most important challenges: to drive growth, build relevance and transform their businesses.  I would like to sincerely thank our clients for pushing us further, our partners for committing to this vision with us and, of course, to my dentsu colleagues around the world for bringing the skill and determination to help us realize our plan. One of the best parts of this role is spending time with our people and clients around the world. Last week I had the opportunity to visit our offices in Singapore, Taiwan and Thailand, meeting with more than 1,300 colleagues and clients.   Throughout the trip, one question stayed with me: what will matter most as our industry continues to change?   As you might expect, AI featured in almost every conversation. We talked about the opportunities it creates, the pace of change, and what it means for our clients, our industry and the future of our work.   What struck me most, however, was that while the technology is changing rapidly, the fundamentals are not. Whether I was speaking with colleagues in a town hall, meeting clients or walking our offices, we kept coming back to the same ideas: staying agile, putting our clients at the center of everything we do and embracing deep collaboration. Those qualities will become even more important as we continue to evolve as a business and strengthen our role as a trusted growth partner for our clients.   What gave me the greatest confidence, however, wasn't hearing those priorities repeated. It was seeing them reflected in the people around me.   Every market had its own personality, but the same qualities stood out everywhere: openness, curiosity and a genuine willingness to challenge ideas. As you can see, there were plenty of smiles, plenty of laughs and no shortage of hands in the air. Those moments reminded me that culture isn't something you write down – it's something you experience.   Innovation has always been part of dentsu's DNA, and AI will undoubtedly reshape the way we work. But these trips reinforce my belief that our greatest competitive advantage won't be technology alone. It will be our people and the enduring partnerships we've built with our clients.   Thank you to everyone who welcomed me so warmly, and to Yuichi Toyoda, Noritaka Omi, Jennifer Tang, Sanjay Bhasin, Prakash Kamdar and all of the local leaders and teams who made these visits so valuable. I left APAC with even greater confidence in what we can achieve together for our clients, our people and the future of our business.

Fresh from Cannes Lions, our own Benjamin Milne, CEO APAC, and Ranganathan Somanathan, Chief Strategy Officer, sat down with The Big Q to explore a question shaping the future of marketing: In an era of hyper-personalisation, why are shared public experiences more important than ever? One thing that stood out: real-world attention isn't like scrolling. People navigating streets, cities, and public spaces are actively engaged with their surroundings, and that changes everything about how brands should show up. There's also a paradox worth sitting with: some of the world's biggest tech and personalization-first companies are among the heaviest investors in large-scale #OOH advertising. Why? Ben and Ranga unpack that, and a lot more, in the full conversation. 🎧 Watch the full episode with dentsu's The Big Q: https://hubs.li/Q04qrLTr0 #CannesLions #billupsTeam

Dentsu Creative Singapore is proud to be the lead creative partner behind "Promises, made real", Prudential plc’s new regional campaign, developed for one of the world’s most diverse regions, and now rolling out across eight markets in Asia. Balancing regional consistency with local relevance, 'Promises, made real' was designed from the outset as a flexible creative platform. Built on a modular film architecture, the integrated campaign delivers a seamless and scalable suite of assets, enabling markets to tailor content, formats and durations to local audiences while staying true to a shared creative idea that unites the region. “At the heart of the campaign is a simple idea: every policy represents a promise. It is a promise to protect a family, provide for a child’s future or support loved ones when they need it most. Prudential’s role is to help customers keep those promises by giving them greater financial confidence and helping them protect what matters most.” - Priscilla Ng, Group Chief Customer & Marketing Officer, Prudential plc   "It is a privilege for dentsu to help shape a defining chapter in this story that puts people at the heart of the brand. Bringing this to life meant that we had to build for complexity because that is the reality of Asia. Our team created a living creative system capable of expressing one idea that is strong enough to hold together, yet flexible enough to breathe. This allowed the campaign to move naturally across markets while always feeling like one unmistakable brand." - Clay Schouest, Chief Strategy Officer, APAC, dentsu Thank you to the Prudential team for your partnership and trust in bringing this campaign to life across Asia.   #PromisesMadeReal #dentsuAPAC #dentsuSEA

Every generation defines success differently. Today, it is shaped as much by passions, communities and self-expression as it is by milestones. For 100Plus, dentsu Malaysia transformed that shift into Ini Flow Aku (This is My Flow), a campaign that celebrates the individuality and everyday rhythm of Malaysian youth. Built from authentic TikTok moments and with real sound bites incorporated into the music score, the anthem music video turns the voices of Malaysians into a collective rallying cry for a new generation. “By embracing the diversity of expressions, interests and lifestyles that make Malaysia unique, the campaign champions a simple belief: there's no one way to live life to the fullest. Everyone has their own flow. And 100PLUS celebrates that. Dentsu Malaysia helped us uncover and articulate this cultural shift, turning it into a creative platform that is both contemporary in spirit and authenticity." - Wai Yin Leong, Chief Marketing Officer, Fraser & Neave Holdings Bhd (F&N) “Ini Flow Aku was never about telling Malaysians who to be. It was about recognising who they already are. A celebration of "you do you" in all its forms, with 100PLUS proudly playing a supporting role in the passions, pursuits and everyday moments that keep the nation moving.” - Ellison Fernandez, Executive Creative Director, Dentsu Malaysia 📧 Let's build brands through culture: hello.sea@dentsu.com #dentsuAPAC #dentsuSEA
