A5 A'Zone Notebooks
Jun. 26th, 2025 10:27 pmGot these brand spanking notebooks today! Where I live, this brand is pretty popular among students.

The pages insides are coloured and make doing homework a little less boring:

Anyone else prefer writing on off-white or coloured paper? It's easier on the eyes and basically the analog version of 'dark mode'.

I just got a Rollbahn a couple weeks ago and the pages are VERY yellow, probably the yellowest they can look and still seem like a neutral color. It feels kind of retro.

Date: 2025-06-27 03:06 am (UTC)A big part of it is that when I was a kid because of my parents jobs I remember being in a lot of like, machinists halls, church libraries etc with old notebooks and stuff that I assumed were from the 70s or 80s because they didn't look like the new ones I had, and this yellow-ivory color looks very familiar. I think I assumed the color was because the paper was old, and not because they were this color to begin with. I feel like in the 90 and early 00s readily available notebooks weren't stark white but they weren't ivory either, they were more cool-toned.

"We'd buy paper, stationery without knowing what we want to use it for." - No truer words from the article to describe the stationery collector's mindset 😆
