It was a privilege to attend the World Hearing Day – Celebration 2026, organized by the Meenakshi Venkatraman Foundation, Secunderabad, on March 6, 2026, at the GMC Alumni Education Centre, Gandhi Medical College Campus, where digital hearing aids were gifted to children with hearing loss under the theme “From Communities to Classrooms - Hearing Care for Every Child.” The program was graced by Dr. T. Shobha, Dr. Bupender Singh Rathod, Padma Shri Dr. Saibaba Goud, and Dr. Saraswati Bhattar. Along with Ms. D. Padmini, Head - HR, and Ms. Sridevi, Executive Secretary to the CEO, we attended the event representing Sai Wardha Power Generation Private Limited, reaffirming our company’s commitment to supporting compassionate initiatives that empower children and vulnerable communities. A particularly inspiring moment was meeting Mr. Abhishek Kohli, a visually challenged individual whose confidence and dedication to social causes were truly motivating. My sincere appreciation to the organizers, medical professionals, and volunteers for this impactful initiative. I am sharing a few photographs, the memento, and the press clipping from the event. Such initiatives strongly reaffirm the value of CSR, compassion, and collective action in building a more inclusive society. Dr. Adithi Kishore - generously contributed by providing hearing aids to children with hearing loss during the World Hearing Day initiative. Her compassionate support reflects a deep commitment to improving the quality of life for children in need. Such thoughtful contributions play a vital role in helping children hear, learn, and thrive with confidence. #WorldHearingDay #HearingHealth #HearingCare #ChildHealth #InclusiveEducation #DisabilityInclusion #AccessibilityForAll #AssistiveTechnology #SocialImpact #CorporateSocialResponsibility #CSRInitiatives #CommunityHealth #HealthcareForAll #InclusionMatters #Empowerment #NonprofitImpact #GlobalHealth #PublicHealthAwareness #HumanityFirst #SustainableDevelopment #SaiWardhaPowerGeneration
