  • A Message from Naksha Tech: What Responsibility Means to Us Responsibility is more than simply completing the task assigned to us. It is about understanding that the work we deliver may become the foundation for someone else’s decision. In GIS, surveying, engineering, software, and every other function at Naksha Tech, even a small detail can matter. A boundary, coordinate, measurement, attribute, calculation, or missing corner may appear insignificant. Others may never notice it. But we will. Responsibility means having the awareness to notice what others may miss, the courage to question something that does not look right, and the ownership to correct it before it becomes someone else’s problem. At the same time, responsibility does not mean chasing perfection endlessly or sacrificing personal balance. It means applying the right level of care, accuracy, and judgment where it truly matters. At NakshaTech, responsibility means: Awareness. Ownership. Accuracy. Judgment. It means taking pride in the quality of our work, learning from mistakes, raising concerns early, and never knowingly passing an avoidable problem to the next person. Because sometimes the world may never notice one missing corner. We do. Precision begins with responsibility. #NakshaTech #Responsibility #ProfessionalResponsibility #Ownership #Accountability #QualityMatters #WorkEthic #ProfessionalIntegrity #LeadershipMindset #GIS #Geospatial #GeospatialTechnology #GISProfessionals #Surveying #Mapping #DigitalTransformation #Technology #Innovation #FutureOfWork #MakeADifference #GlobalProfessionals

🌍 Did You Know? There’s an Almost-Hidden Continent Beneath the Pacific Ocean! Meet Zealandia - Te Riu-a-Māui, a vast area of continental crust in the southwest Pacific that geologists argue has the characteristics of a continent. What makes Zealandia especially fascinating is this: 🗺️ Most of a continent doesn't necessarily have to be above water. Modern geological mapping, marine surveys, bathymetry, seismic studies, and satellite-derived data are helping scientists understand landscapes that humans may never physically see. The Earth still has enormous stories hidden beneath its oceans and geospatial science is helping us map them. #DidYouKnow #Zealandia #NewZealand #Geology #gis #mapping #geospatial #nakshatech #geoai #EarthScience #OceanMapping #GIS #Mapping #Science

  • LiDAR or Photogrammetry - which technology is right for your project? Both technologies can capture the real world with remarkable accuracy, but they are not interchangeable. Through a story-based comparison, this video explains where LiDAR performs best, when photogrammetry is the smarter choice, and how factors such as vegetation, accuracy, terrain, project scale, budget, and expected deliverables influence the final decision. The best technology is not always the most advanced one, it is the one that solves the project requirement effectively. Watch the video before choosing the technology for your next survey or mapping project. #LiDAR #Photogrammetry #GeospatialTechnology #DroneSurvey #Mapping #Surveying #GIS #NakshaTech

𝗟𝗶𝗗𝗔𝗥 𝗼𝗿 𝗽𝗵𝗼𝘁𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗺𝗲𝘁𝗿𝘆? 𝗠𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗺𝘀 𝗽𝗶𝗰𝗸 𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗵𝗮𝗯𝗶𝘁 - 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗯𝗲𝗰𝗮𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝗶𝘁'𝘀 𝗮𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝘁𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗷𝗼𝗯. Both can produce a 3D model. But they get there in completely different ways, and that difference matters more than people think when you're scoping a survey. LiDAR sends laser pulses and measures how long they take to return. It can punch through gaps in tree canopy to capture the actual ground underneath, works in low light, and gives you highly accurate elevation data, which is why it's the default for terrain, forests, roads, power lines, and engineering surveys. Photogrammetry builds its model from overlapping photographs instead. It needs good, consistent lighting, but in return you get realistic, colour-rich 3D models, which makes it a strong (and usually more affordable) choice for buildings, construction sites, monuments, and visual documentation. 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻: LiDAR measures the world with laser pulses. Photogrammetry reconstructs it from photographs. Neither one is "better" - the right choice depends on what's under your canopy, what your lighting looks like, and what your deliverable actually needs to show.
