Ananya Birla’s Svatantra Microfin Files ₹3,000-Crore IPO: ₹1,500-Crore Fresh Issue, OFS Explained Ananya Birla-led Svatantra Microfin has filed its Draft Red Herring Prospectus (DRHP) with SEBI for a ₹3,000-crore IPO. The issue includes a ₹1,500-crore fresh equity issue and a ₹1,500-crore offer for sale by existing investors Multiples Private Equity Funds and Violicina Limited. The company plans to use fresh issue proceeds to strengthen its Tier-I capital and support future growth and lending. Svatantra Microfin’s microfinance AUM rose to ₹21,093 crore as of March 2026, while its gross Stage-3 ratio improved to 1.19%. Red Fort Blast: UN Report Attributes 2025 Delhi Attack To Al-Qaeda AQIS A United Nations Security Council report has attributed the November 2025 blast near Delhi’s Red Fort to Al-Qaeda in the Indian Subcontinent (AQIS). The 38th report of the Analytical Support and Sanctions Monitoring Team also raised concerns over AQIS’s presence in Afghanistan and its attempts to expand into Bangladesh. The report said AQIS leaders are based in Kabul and continue operating with Afghan identity documents. The blast, which killed around 15 people, was investigated by Indian authorities as a terror attack.
