Hello,
I'm Ice_Elf - a girl in her early twenties, living somewhere in the North West of England. I've just finished a degree in English Language and Literature and am attempting to begin a career in teaching.
This journal is mostly used as a place for me to talk about my interests - mostly my favourite books, films and tv series. These usually fall into the Sci-Fi/Fantasy genre and range from 'Doctor Who' and 'Torchwood' to 'The Lord of the Rings', 'A Song of Ice and Fire' and 'Temeraire'. Be warned: I am a massive fangirl and I'll often be flailing dramatically about something that's happened in my latest book/tv episode/film. I love literature, musical theatre, John Barrowman and Doctor Who. I also like anything strange and fantastical - especially elves and dragons.
I also love Formula 1, supporting Kimi Raikkonen mostly, but I have a few other favourites. While Formula 1 is the only sport I watch regularly, I will watch anything with fast cars or bikes and will watch tennis when I can. I also enjoy fencing, although I'm in the process of finding myself a new club.
My lifelong ambition is to become a published writer and during November I can always be found competing in NaNoWriMo. I do have one major novelling project on the go, however, although I've been at a major stumbling block for a long time now. :P When not working on my original projects I do write fanfiction.
My journal is friends-locked but if we have something in common I'll most likely add you.
