Sam Pohl, Director, CE Operations
Sam joined the HOSA Competitive Events Team in 2023 as the CE Off-Site Coordinator, and now serves as the Director of Competitive Event Operations. She is also currently the Assistant Director for Michigan HOSA. Sam’s HOSA journey started in 2010 as a competitor where she was able to gain leadership skills and further her passion for healthcare. She was fortunate to intern at the Michigan HOSA office the four years she attended college, and later started working full-time in 2017. HOSA has been a pillar in her life for many, many years!
Sam earned her bachelor’s degree in Arts & Communication from Michigan State University, with a minor in Sales and Health Promotion. Outside of work, Sam is busy keeping up with her three little kids and husband, Keith. As a family, they enjoy summer days at the lake.
