Writer of Tolkien fanfiction (mostly Silmarillion) since December 2009.
My journal is mainly concerned with matters connected one way or the other with Tolkien fandom, but there are some other bits and pieces as well, which tend to be locked with restricted access. Not all of my Silm stories are posted here (my main archives are SWG and AO3), but many are. A lot of the fiction on this journal is not locked, but some stories are, especially WIPs.
You are welcome to subscribe to my journal. I am quite likely to subscribe to you as well. If it isn't obvious what your interest in my journal is, it would be helpful if you dropped me a line, especially if you would like to be granted access to locked entries. (Also, I'm usually friendly, but not very outgoing, and on most days I am not very ready to friend other people without an invitation.)
I run two communities: tolkienshortfanworks (which is pretty much what it says on the tin) and b2memsupport (updates on Back to Middle-earth month, chiefly cross-posts).
I am usually either hhimring or Himring, on any site.
