"101 Things in 1001 Days is the brainchild of Michael Green, a blogger and developer from NZ. He created a list of tasks to achieve within a defined period, and the idea quickly spread around the web as a tool for helping people accomplish their goals...1001 Days (about 2.75 years) is a better period of time than a year, because it allows you several seasons to complete the tasks, which is better for organizing and timing some tasks such as overseas trips or outdoor activities." I have finished six lists, and I'm continuing, working on the seventh list. The second through sixth lists are posted chronologically in my journal.
The seventh list is posted just below, and I'll be editing/updating roughly weekly. References to it will likely be regular occurrences in this journal. I have no expectations of accomplishing everything on the list - but this gives me some structure, motivation, and focus. Every time I complete a goal in a section, I'll move it to 'Completed Goals' and add another goal in that section. Bold means a goal is in progress. I'm not planning on having more than 30 goals in progress at any one time, or actively working on more than 15 (some of my goals require multiple years or the entire 1001 days to complete). The seventh list started on March 11th, 2025 and it will end Tuesday, December 07, 2027.
