It's always been there, just on the other side of what mankind knows: Faerie, and the great Green. You stepped onto the wrong path, walked the wrong Road, and now it's claimed you.

welcome to the World beyond the World
The Greening is a panfandom open-world, plot-driven game. Set in the land of Faerie and inspired by the setting of Johnathan Strange and Mr. Norrell, the game's themes focus on the darker side of fairy tales and folklore. There is an emphasis on eldritch and faerie horror, with characters encountering a variety of monstrous creatures both fair and foul. Body horror is optional, and characters that fall prey to the temptations of the faerie court may find themselves changing—both physically and psychologically—to better suit the setting.

Players are free to engage with the game's overarching plot, explore and expand the game's worldbuilding elements, or create space for their own plotlines. This is a sandbox style game that is backtag friendly and slower-paced, perfect for RP retirees or those with busy schedules. AC is check-in only.
