Unmoved by fear, I've come to understand that scaring myself into caring about the environment doesn't push me into action.
Helping stir my friends giant compost with them inspired me. I started my own without putting too much thought, and have been working on it since. Community and joy helped me to start one small change. When I add to it and stir it, it calms my climate anxieties and brings me joy and gives me a new thing to talk about with my family.
Even with a government that isn't helping, I still believe change in possible through community and changing our communities collective mindset towards this subject. I want people to have FUN and to participate in actions rather than just discussions of theoretical actions.
Together we can amend and prepare. ❤🌈
