[UPDATED: 23 APRIL 2023 -
I am working on revamping this page, expect changes at any time.]
this isn't a comprehensive list of my ships, but a small taste of which ships you'll see most often on my twitter account. we all have those ships we retweet fanart for and gush about more often than others ^_^ so if you don't see a ship here, it's NOT an indicator that i dislike it/am neutral on it. i just don't find myself posting about it or retweeting it on twitter (though i probably do on occasion!) so i decided it's not notable. i'm a huge multishipper, so chances are i probably at least like whatever ship you're wondering about.
i didn't use ship names to keep things simple. spoiler warning for the great ace attorney chronicles 2!
some of these ships are "problematic". some are incest, some have big age gaps, plenty have big power dynamics and whatever else you might think deserves that label. consider this a warning ^_^
ships in bold are big favourites.

Since twitter (not calling it X) is dying, I decided to move my seasonal anime thoughts to my blog. I’ve been really looking forward to the controversial A Girl & Her Guard Dog (Ojou to Banken-kun)’s anime adaptation. I began reading the manga a little over a year ago due to the anime announcement, and it’s since become one of my favourite ongoing Shoujo series. But it’s drenched in controversy and negative reactions — and while it deserves content warnings and its unpopularity isn’t shocking, I don’t believe for a second that this story is an uncritical portrayal of grooming. The question is, will the anime do its themes justice? After one episode, my feelings are mixed.

My-Himejoshi woes
How much space is afforded to yuri by the English manga industry really?
(WARNING: Semi-coherent ranting about yuri's place in the world below. I just wanted go beyond the character limits of twitter, where I have talked about these frustrations on a smaller scale).

A term that has been exhausted to death is queerbait. When it comes to yuri anime and the whole concept of “queerbait” feels absurd to me. If something is labelled as a yuri series, everything about it feels ‘yuri’, regardless of how far the relationships actually go. This is generally how I approach yuri relationships in yuri works. More under the cut… (Spoiler warning for Otherside Picnic, Oniisama e, and Maria-sama ga Miteru).
