I have my iPad in a stand, in portrait orientation, which is used as a 3rd display, using BetterDisplay to rotate the display by 90 degrees. The problem is, the rotation is always in the wrong direction (i.e 270 degrees rather than 90) so the display starts out upside down. This I can correct by physically rotating the iPad to engage its internal orientation detection, and eventually it will appear right side up. Also, the problem returns every time the computer goes to sleep and is awakened again. One solution would be to place the iPad upside down in the stand (i.e. with the charging port at the top) but obviously that's far from ideal. I would like an extra setting that lets me choose between 90 or 270 degree rotation, which would solve this. |

If you are using streaming, you have the option to simply flip and rotate the screen in any direction you want (see the Flip/Rotate controls under the Stream Virtual Screen menu). |
