Hi there - yes, I plan to improve this feature and simplify the way you can get the mouse in and out of the virtual screen. Here are the planned features for PIP and streaming: https://github.com/waydabber/BetterDisplay/issues?q=sort%3Aupdated-desc+is%3Aissue+is%3Aopen+label%3APIP%2FStream |

You can use Command + Click to transport the mouse to the virtual screen and can define a keyboard shortcut to transfer it back for now. Maybe in the future I will improve this but since local displays do not work like remote screen sharing and there is a single system-wide mouse, there are some practical constraints, so I am not sure how well transport-click-transport back on a click would work in most scenarios. If you need a fully independent second Mac inside a Window, you should check out VirtualBuddy. |

Hi team,
Thanks for the amazing tool! I’m trying to set up a virtual display (16:9 aspect ratio) in PiP mode on my secondary monitor (a super ultrawide), mainly to simplify screen sharing during meetings.
Is it possible to enable click-through, allowing me to interact with the virtual display in PiP mode just like a regular monitor? I want the virtual display, while being the active window/monitor, to register clicks and keyboard inputs as expected.
If not, are there any workarounds or plans to add this feature?
Thanks!
