Why my github website pages did not update automatically?

I use Yi Ren's github academia personal website template and made my personal website, 2 months ago when I was in China it runs well and did not need me to update by myself. But recently I moved to US, then I found that everytime I change contents on the page(in respository) there didn't exist any new update anymore.
Anyone has idea on it?
