I'm an escaped teacher of English and Drama (now in recovery after 34 years at the chalkface), a mother to two young women, an avid reader and busy busy person. I went back to university after retirement to do MAs, first one in English with as much creative writing as I could shoehorn in, then one on Shakespeare and Theatre. I write fanfic in the Buffy fandom and have been very lucky to meet some wonderful people through LJ and DW.

If you friend me I will probably friend you back - if I know you have done so, which is not inevitable. It's nice to know a bit about who you are first, though. Most of my fandom stuff is open to read anyway.
