Get Your Shit Done is an accountability community for writers to meet a weekly commitment of productivity. Writers define their own commitment level, then post evidence on a weekly basis that they are meeting that commitment.
To participate:
1. Create a Commitment Post with your weekly productivity goals (for example: Two chapters a week on X story, or 5000 words a week on a variety of work).
2. On the day of the week defined in your Commitment Post, post evidence that you have met your commitment for that week (the work itself, or some other measure/metric you want to use to show you’ve met your goal).
3. If your productivity goals change, create a new Commitment Post with your new commitment level.
This is not a critique journal. Please limit any comments on posts to positive reinforcement only. The goal here is getting shit done, not getting it done perfectly.
This is also not a shame journal. If you don’t meet your goal and don’t want to post about it, no one’s going to hunt you down. The purpose of the community is to provide a positive environment for meeting goals and getting shit done.
And last, this is not competition. Everyone makes their own commitments. Don't compare the size of your commitment with anyone else's commitment. Get your Own Shit done :).
And that's it! Go forth and be accountable :).
