AI companies are now global by default. The 100 largest AI companies on Stripe by revenue reached an average of 120 markets by their third year of operation. Collectively, they now draw 48% of revenue from outside their home markets. But global availability is only the first step. Our latest analysis looks at where AI demand is growing fastest—and what it takes to turn that demand into durable revenue. A few findings stood out: 🇰🇷 South Korea stood out as an already-large market that continues to grow quickly at 134% year-over-year. 🇲🇽 Mexico emerged as a breakout market, with 264% year over year growth despite its current smaller size.  💳 The fastest-growing AI companies use 2x more local payment methods than the broader cohort, underscoring that localization matters as much as reach. For AI businesses, the opportunity is not simply to sell in more countries. It is to build experiences that let customers in those markets buy in the ways that work best for them. Something wild is happening with Stripe Connect right now. We've added more platforms on Stripe in the last 3 months than we did in the last 6 months of 2025. New platform businesses on Stripe are up 106% year over year. And, fascinatingly, that growth rate is still accelerating. A few things stand out to me: 1. These are real businesses onboarding real users with real volume. We did a deep audit of our newest platforms (manual reviews, LLM classification, heuristic checks) and they're legit. Even better, our January 2026 cohort is hitting $1M in volume at a higher rate than any previous cohort. 2. AI is changing how developers build on Stripe, with 42% of new integrations involving some form of AI assistance. For Connect users, we're leaning into this trend heavily with better docs, blueprints, and agent-friendly tooling. We recently added a new connect-recommend skill to the official Stripe plugin for Claude, available to users who install or invoke the plugin. This skill provides agent-steering resources that help AI recommend the Connect integration for the use case. In Claude skill evals, the rewritten Connect guidance improved the pass rate from ~40% to ~90% across our six core Connect scenarios. 3. The macro tailwinds are real and, at the same time, we've also shipped a ton of improvements to onboarding and integration flows that are compounding. Users building “complete” integrations (a leading indicator for us) is up 200% YoY. For SaaS platforms thinking about embedded payments or financial services, the barrier to entry has never been lower. The platforms building now are scaling faster than we've ever seen. So excited for what’s happening with the segment and we want your feedback. If you're a platform founder or leader, would love to hear what's top of mind for you right now.

Earlier this year, Anupam Upadhyay and I set ourselves a new goal: 10x every Stripe in the same way coding agents had 10x-ed engineers. That idea evolved into Stripe’s Knowledge AI Platform, our in-house AI tool. Today, 80% of Stripes use it weekly across more than 20,000 sessions every day. It helps people turn fragmented context spread across various internal systems into answers and usable artifacts. And the impact is being felt all around us - we just learned that Account Execs close almost 40% more deals when they use it! There comes a time in every acquisition where you ask yourself 'was this worth it? Did we actually inflect the business?' This week - we can definitively answer that question: "yes, hell yes." Our new revenue growth 5x'ed QoQ, demand has been unprecedented, and a few weeks ago we did a thing I never thought we'd do: we made Metronome self serve. We are now onboarding more new users in a quarter than we did in the first several years of our life. Come join HuggingFace, Anthropic, Nvidia and the rest of the world on purpose-built billing software for AI. signup.metronome.com

We’ve rolled out improvements to Stripe Directory to make it easier to find the best companies to help you and your agent: 1. Available to all businesses, builders, and agents. Stripe-powered or not. You (or your agent) can install the Stripe CLI and immediately run `stripe directory search` to find the right solution. No Stripe account login required. 2. Instant business listings: When you make your Stripe profile public, there’s no longer a 24 hour lag to appear in search results. Builders and agents will be able to find you immediately. 3. MCP listings: Stripe profiles that support MCP will now have their endpoints included in search results. Filter results by MCP only via --mcp-supported too! And to help agents find agent-ready businesses easier, we’ve given results with MCP or MPP endpoints a small boost in the results rankings. What would you like to see next in Stripe Directory? Let us know in the replies. A few ideas we’re considering: * Business health metrics factoring into results * Curated lists by third parties  * Offering physical goods in the results and buying them via agentic commerce If any of those interest you, my DMs are open or email us at directory@stripe.com!

Businesses often tell me they believe the best way to fight a “product not received” dispute is to submit more evidence. We analyzed one million “product not received” disputes on Stripe and found that evidence specificity matters more than volume. For physical goods, delivery information was the strongest signal we studied. Businesses that submitted delivery confirmation, a GPS delivery map, and a recipient signature saw a 44 percentage point higher win rate than businesses that did not submit these types of evidence. The same lesson applies to digital goods: disputes that had activity logs that showed that a customer accessed or used the specific product saw a 10 percentage point higher win rate than disputes without them. Smart Disputes is designed to apply these best practices for you, helping you save time and recover revenue. It uses AI to automatically assemble tailored evidence packets for eligible card disputes so you don’t have to manually implement them dispute by dispute.
