Building a collaborative ecosystem that leverages the power of deep technologies to tackle world challenges.

À propos

Hello Tomorrow was created in 2011 by a group of individuals convinced that science and technology need to form part of a toolkit of solutions to change our industries, sustain a growing population and help solve global crises. But the traditional model of technology transfer to bring solutions from lab to market, and from idea to impact, could not rise to this challenge. In turn, Hello Tomorrow has built, and now animates, a global ecosystem that facilitates ‘deep tech’ innovation through multiple activities. Over the course of nine editions, their Global Startup Challenge has received 30,000 applications from 132 countries, partnering with universities and research institutions worldwide to identify deep tech solutions that have real global impact. Hello Tomorrow then uses its unique position to identify and analyze deep tech trends and dynamics. Through their international events, they connect all key players to harness their full potential. Through consulting services in strategy and innovation and customised startups programs, they help companies to understand how deep tech will impact their business, how to stay competitive and launch new solutions.

🏆 Congratulations to Jiva Materials Ltd, winner of the Climate Tech & Environmental Protection track at the Hello Tomorrow Challenge — supported by L'Oréal! Jiva Materials Ltd 🇬🇧 is rethinking what a circuit board can be. Their product, Soluboard®, is the world's first recyclable, biodegradable PCB substrate, made from natural fibres and a water-soluble polymer that dissolves in hot water, allowing the valuable components inside to be recovered and reused rather than thrown away. Compared to standard boards, it cuts embodied carbon by up to 70%. Already validated through 30+ paid pilots with the likes of Amazon, Bosch, Siemens, HP, and Sky, Soluboard® works with existing PCB manufacturing processes — meaning electronics companies don't have to overhaul their production lines to make a meaningful dent in e-waste. Congratulations to CEO & Co-Founder Stephen Driver and the entire Jiva team on this well-deserved win! 🎉

🏆 Congratulations to TracXon, winner of the Semiconductors & Advanced Electronics track at the Hello Tomorrow Challenge – supported by ASML! TracXon 🇳🇱 is rethinking how electronic circuits are made. Spun out of TNO and the Holst Centre in Eindhoven, they build roll-to-roll printing equipment for flexible hybrid electronics, replacing the traditional subtractive manufacturing process with an additive one that uses 12x less material, generates 10.5x less waste, and produces zero water in production. The result is electronics manufacturing that is faster, lighter, and drastically more sustainable, with reshoring potential built in. Their technology is already finding its way into automotive interiors, wearables, medical patches, battery systems, and smart packaging. And that list is only getting longer. Congratulations to CEO Ashok Sridhar, PhD MBA and the entire TracXon team! 🎉

Europe does not lack dual-use innovation. It needs clearer pathways to turn that innovation into deployed capability. The post-event report from the inaugural Dual-Use Forum at the Hello Tomorrow Summit 2026 is out now! Bringing together startups, investors, corporates and public-sector stakeholders, the Forum explored what it will take to move defence, security and resilience technologies from breakthrough innovation to real-world capability. Dual-use startups raised a record $8.7B in 2025. To build on that momentum, the report identifies four priority areas that could help strengthen the pathway from innovation to deployment: ➡️ Clear, problem-first demand signals from governments ➡️ Credible routes from pilots to exercises and then, recurring contracts ➡️ An unlocked capital stack for DSR companies ➡️ Clearer pathways to scale across Allied markets Want to learn more? Find the full report in the comments! Thank you to all our partners: OTB Ventures, NATO Innovation Fund (NIF), Expeditions, Keen Venture Partners, Join Capital GmbH, McKinsey & Company and Techleap.

🇯🇵 A few weeks ago at the Hello Tomorrow Summit, JETRO - Japan External Trade Organization brought together 15 Japanese corporates and 10 leading European universities – including CNRS Innovation, UnternehmerTUM, DTU - Technical University of Denmark, and Digital Catapult – for a dedicated side event, focused on one question: How can Japanese industry and European deep tech work more closely together? A quick debrief: 🤝 Through roundtables and 1-1 meetings, participants explored collaboration opportunities in areas including carbon capture and next-generation AI infrastructure. 🗓️ Discussions suggested starting with technical or master projects before moving to CVC or direct investment, with a desire for short-term Proof of Concept (POC) timelines of 1–2 months. This signals that the path from conversation to collaboration doesn't have to be long. The bridges between Japan and Europe are ready to be built, and we are excited to see where these new connections lead. Shoutout to Alizée Blanchin for her opening speech and to Lucas Maurice for moderating the session! 🙌

🏆 Congratulations to Naco Technologies, winner of the Energy track at the Hello Tomorrow Challenge — supported by Breakthrough Energy Discovery and Honda Xcelerator Ventures! Naco Technologies 🇱🇻 is tackling one of green hydrogen's biggest scaling challenges: the cost and durability of the systems that produce it. Their advanced coatings are designed to significantly extend the lifetime of green hydrogen systems while drastically reducing the use of expensive noble materials like platinum and iridium, making clean hydrogen production more affordable and more robust at scale. Naco Technologies applies PVD nano-coatings to electrolyser and fuel cell components, engineered for mass production and compatible with almost any material combination. Congratulations to Co-Founder & CEO Aleksandrs Parfinovics. We're excited to see where this goes. 🙌

🏆 Congratulations to UNOMR, winner of the Digital Health & Medical Devices track of the Hello Tomorrow Challenge! UNOMR 🇨🇭 is pushing the boundaries of what protein analysis can do — today too slow, too expensive, and not precise enough to catch diseases early or develop better treatments fast enough. Spun out of ETH Zürich, their single-molecule sensor platform delivers unprecedented depth of protein modification data. This technology could help oncologists detect tumours before symptoms appear, and give drug developers the protein-level precision they need to build better treatments faster. Congratulations to CEO & Co-Founder Til Schlotter for the fantastic pitch! 🎉
