Fail_fandomanon started out about one thing- a place to complain about convention policies, warnings and special snowflakes. It has evolved into being an anon meme about almost everything fandom related.

F_FA has been described as suffering from "Death by Earnestness". We know this, and we own it.

We love poetry about fungus.

If any friend's-locked material, personally identifying information (full real names or locations etc) or photographs of fans are posted the thread will be deleted. Deliberate non-anon comments without a compelling reason to exist will be deleted, and the poster may be banned.


Some handy tips:

append ?view=flat to see a view of the comments in chronological order. The last page will be the latest ones.

DA=different anon
DD= details, details
ITT=in this thread
NA=new anon
OP=thread starter
SA=same anon

Easy way to track threads: Create a disposable Gmail. Create a sock puppet LJ, plus account. Set the account to track all responses to the post. Have all comments emailed to you. Gmail will sort them by threads.

Even easier way: Use Firefox. Download Greasemonkey. Than add the "LJ New Comments" script. Script is located here: http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/2494, and it identifies new comments and threads.

This nifty add-on allows you to open text links in a new tab by double-clicking them. Pretty useful for an anon meme. Doesn't work with the Firefox 4 betas, but it should work with all versions of 2 and 3.
