Scary dream

fayanoraJust woke up from a dream where I had some kind of lengthy bit of thorny vine stuck in my thigh, and even though I was trying very carefully to take it out, I botched it so badly it tore my thigh wide open into such a gaping wound that I was afraid I'd die before I could get to the emergency room.
Thankfully, I then had a false awakening where I proceeded to freak out and cry about that nightmare in my sleep until I recognized I was still asleep and promptly woke up before something worse could happen.
Interestingly, I did not freak out or cry upon actually waking up. And thankfully, there was no real world pain inspiring the leg thing. Now I just have to hope I'll never have that particular dream ever again.
