Fascinating superhero idea: Flood/Haven

fayanoraJust woke up from a dream where I was a very fascinating superhero just getting to know their powers. The superhero was non-binary with they/them pronouns and had named themselves Haven because the name reminded them of somewhere safe, though their superhero name was Flood. Their primary power was some kind of divination power that worked best when flooded with feelings from some sort of sensory input. Music worked best for this, but pain could work as well. And it gave back images and sounds that could be interpreted. They had a team of people that helped interpret the clues Flood would get back so they'd know where to go next and what to do when they got there. Flood could also use images to divine things like a person's location, and that worked mainly by seeing patterns of symbols in amorphous shapes like seeing a rabbit shape in clouds for one example.
Flood had other powers, too. The main ones I remember include the ability to see through solid matter and the ability to phase through solid matter. Oh, and they could float and fly. I think these powers were activated by thinking of certain images or hearing certain sounds or music. I got the strong impression that there was a lot more to Flood's powers that young Haven (a teenager) had yet to uncover, but the helpful group they'd found themselves knew about and would be working them towards in their training.
I also got the strong impression that Flood was a superhero name and power set that got passed on by reincarnation, because this group that was helping them already knew a lot about Flood's powers and was helping Haven explore their use. I think the previous Flood was a man, but there had been others, including women. This helpful group had also tracked Haven down by tracking their use of their powers somehow, and even by duplicating aspects of Flood's power set. One image they showed Haven that had been helpful to them was very complex and didn't have any obvious interpretations to Haven, and the Flood part of them was impressed. There may also have been some way to access past life memories of previous Flood incarnations.
Haven's personality had been altered by becoming Flood; however Haven was before, they were now very calm, quiet, and a bit spacey. Also very wise. But I also felt that this was more on the order of their existing personality being turned up a level or two higher. I think their powers had something to do with vibrations more than just sound and music, like knowing the natural vibrations of everything in the world, and they could hear those vibrations like music at a subconscious level normally, and could bring that awareness to the conscious level with some concentration.
All in all, a very fascinating superhero power set, I would read the hell out of a comic book about them.
