 Harmony's Odyssey
Played for about 10 minutes before I "solved" a puzzle in an unintended way and could not proceed further. Cute art style and fun sound effects when moving pieces though! I'd probably check out a a further along version sometime.

 Catie in MeowmeowLand
A hidden item puzzle game where you click around the screen to make little events happen that deliver an item to you or to reveal key items hiding underneath other objects. Some maps have more complicated puzzles where you need to click in a specific sequence to unlock the way forward. The overall feel is reminiscent of something like Adventure Time with some of "whacky" story beats (you start the game by exiting through the butthole of a cat who accidentally swallowed you).

Visual novel with a cyberpunk setting. The writing was a bit clunky and there were a few times where I lost who was talking. The art took me back to high school, and I mean that as a compliment! But honestly speaking, I'm not sure if I'll check this one out after release. There wasn't anything that grabbed me. The story repeatedly mentioned having sex with your android is banned, so that made it a bit too obvious where the story was going (not that I have issue with ero content in my VNs).
Well, this is definitely one I'll be playing! I managed to glitch out the demo real good, but that didn't stop me from restarting several times just to progress a bit more. The art style is very cute, which immediately drew me in, and just... the concept of being a bear and running your own bed and breakfast is just too good! I mean, your bear can wear clothes! There's an angry pigeon and weird raccoon! Gathering, crafting, decorating... simulation! Yeah... this is my kind of game.
 Black Book
Card based RPG about a young woman who becomes a witch to resurrect her dead spouse. Interesting concept and I don't hate the simplified polygon modeling of the characters or the environments. You can choose to move freely yourself in an area or click on objective markers to move, which I appreciate. The voice acting isn't the best, and that takes me out of it a bit. I'm on the fence with this one. I'm not a big card game fan, but the concept was enough to peak my interest, so... hmm, we'll see!

 Frogsong
You play as a tiny warrior treefrog in a... Souls-like adventure?? There's religion and an empire? It was cute! The dialogue was funny from the get-go and each established character seems to have their own personality which comes across well in text. The frogs make little noises every time they speak. It seems like it might be hard, or perhaps it's just lacking in polish right now, but I'm interested in seeing more. I also just like frogs.

When The Past Was Around
A very pretty hidden object/puzzle game. It definitely feels like the type of story that will make you cry by the end. The first scene you open up on has a simple melody, and as you progress through the chapter's scenes the music builds upon itself. It's already out, so this is a definite buy from me... once I clear up some of my backlog!

i actually managed to hatch a shiny hatterne, wao!
it took a couple hundred eggs. i didn't keep track of how many i actually hatched, oops!
she's in a love ball too!!
i'm working on morpeko next. the white belly is so cute! i'm almost at a 100 eggs hatched. |

Been playing Animal Crossing: New Leaf lately! I've taken a bunch of screenshots and just wanted to post them all up somewhere, so why not here? Not going to bother making a fancy header graphic like I do with my usual screenshot posts because I am lazy.
