Catching up - a miscellany
Jun. 17th, 2007 16:51I've had some time off now, and am starting to feel human again. It didn't help that I saw 30 classes of kids this week ranging from Kindergartners to Eighth Graders. I think I've finally convinced my body that 6:15am is not a reasonably wake-up time again.
Time for another post of ramblings with random cuts as this will be long.

40cm to go, and I've got a few books in progress. I was hoping to finish before the beginning of our summer reading game, but I don't think that's going to happen, as it starts a week from Monday.

papersky, I don't think I'll ever catch up.
I probably won't be posting any new fiction today (not being a pro) but the story remixed for me is Once Upon an Uncertanty Principle: the Time and Again Remix and I loved it. I'm not allowed to say which one I wrote yet, but after the big reveal it will show up here. Points to anyone who guesses ahead of time.
I have added (and will continue to add) icons to thedwicons100 table as I make them. I've been managing two or three a day. Feel free to take any I've already posted, though credit is greatly appreciated and comments are ♥.

I work in a library in the US. A few months ago, I established that my distributor could get the Doctor Who: Short Trips anthologies, and once I had ordered one or two to be certain they weren't suddenly going to tell me they were unavailable, I ordered whatever they had.
Then our budget and our orders were placed on hold, in order to make sure it would last until the end of the budget year in June.
I just received the first box of books since the hold was lifted.
