AU of main Imperial Condykat AU
Dec. 9th, 2018 12:27 amKarkat, a rebel fighter and breeder queen, is captured by Her Imperial Condescension and becomes a consort to the Empress. Karkat manages to escape, but not before being bred by the Condesce. However, it’s not until Karkat manages to rejoin the other rebels that he learns he’s carrying a grub(s).
Out of a clutch of (insert arbitrary number here) duds, one egg survives. In an ironic twist of fate, a tiny fuchsia blooded heiress grub, Garída, is born. Knowing that her very existence is an offense to the current Empress, she is raised in secret by the rebel group. Karkat lives with the dread of knowing his own grub will one day have to face her own sire/The Empress in a battle of heir supremacy.
(Basically it’s somewhat similar to the whole Dolorosa and Signless thing but with a Tyrian blooded grub sired by Condesce and borne of the rebel leader Karkat. Angst and shenanigans ensue.)
*Breeder queens are like ant and bee queens but with trolls; they exist separate of the Empress.
