I write about daily life, hobbies, interests, and creative projects. I don't actively engage in fandom, but my entries will likely include books and media I'm enjoying. Anything excessive will be placed behind a cut.

Entries may include cursing (the bad word type and the angry witch type), discussion of chronic illness and mental health issues, and puns. Discussion of politics will generally be limited to social issues that affect me and my loved ones, and will be placed behind a cut for consideration.

Phobia warning: I have a beloved pet snake and may occasionally share photos.

With the exception of lighthearted entries (memes and so on), this journal will be access-locked to approved users to protect my privacy. If you'd like access, drop a comment on this entry and let me know why.

My non-negotiable for friends and acquaintances is empathy. I have no tolerance for bigotry, animal cruelty, or rampant disregard for the environment & all life in it. For this reason, I generally do not get along with people whose views align with the political far right.

I otherwise enjoy meeting new people, so those I grant access will likely find a mutual subscriber in me. :)

I'll subscribe to any journal I find interesting and leave a comment of introduction. I don't expect a mutual subscription; it's just a courtesy I extend in the age of bots and random creepers.
