Getnet launches Getnet Engage to help merchants build customer loyalty through payments. 🤝 Getnet Engage enables merchants to create and manage customised loyalty programmes directly through the payment terminal, helping them strengthen customer relationships and drive repeat business. Automatically recognising customers through the payment card they use, the solution eliminates the need for loyalty cards, mobile applications or additional registration processes. Merchants can create points-based programmes or digital stamp cards, while an analytics dashboard provides insights into customer behaviour, campaign performance and commercial opportunities. Getnet Engage will be first introduced in Brazil before rolling out across Getnet's markets in Latin America and Europe. As Chinese tourism to Spain grows, unfamiliar payment options can create friction for travellers and make it harder for local businesses to serve them effectively. Through a new partnership with Getnet, Weixin Pay will become available on physical POS terminals across Spain. This will give Chinese mainland visitors a familiar way to pay while helping merchants connect with this growing market. As Vivian Shi noted, the partnership will bring greater convenience to Chinese mainland travellers.
