Eglantine Rosemonde

FIRST IMPRESSIONS

VISUAL: A female-presenting human (passing?) person somewhere in its early to mid 20s. She purposely cultivates an attractive, highly ornate and harmless appearance; layers of frills, soft pinks, gold ornamentation, etc. It has a sweet, disarmingly approachable sort of face with big pink eyes, framed by long pink hair that's wavy and close to being outright curly. It has the slender, lithe & well-toned build of a dancer or fencer, without much (immediately) visible musculature.

AURAL: Mid-toned, airy and even. She has the careful, particular enunciation of someone raised to mind their Ps and Qs and talks like a noblewoman. Its native language is basically fantasy French and its accent is recognisably in that ballpark, with some odd Italian-ish inflections here and there.

OLFACTORY: Almost always has a faint smell of springtime, especially roses, even in situations where it doesn't necessarily seem possible...???

DEMEANOUR: Brusque without being unfriendly; generally, she comes across as reasonably approachable and unassuming, if a little blunt and overly direct. Generally comes off as calm and collected even in tense situations and is rarely seen without a smile.

PHYSICAL AFFECTION: It won't have any strong reaction so sure if you want!

PHYSICAL VIOLENCE: Her favourite thing!! Check in with me first on this because it WILL beat you bloody

RELATIONSHIPS & SHIP PREFS: lol

PSYCHIC & PSIONIC INFORMATION: Doesn't matter bc it's a nerfed game lol but if this ever comes up, please ask my permission and we'll discuss it!

MAGICAL INFORMATION: Eglantine is implanted with a type of magic known in its home world as 'Spring magic' - for anyone who can detect magic, it feels warm, protective but also a little dangerous.

MEDICAL INFORMATION: She's deceptively strong and muscular and dresses to disguise this fact. Despite its extensive combat experience, it only has one scar - a pale ring of scarring around its upper right arm.

OFFENSIVE SUBJECTS & TRIGGERS: Eglantine enthusiastically dehumanizes itself and does not care to have this corrected! More seriously, Eglantine has a close, quasi-romantic and reciprocal relationship with the mage who raised her during her forging. In practice, they are functionally same-aged peers and the relationship does not involve an age gap or parent/child dynamic (and they don't conceptualize of themselves that way regardless). Regardless, I get that this could toe into some uncomfortable territory for folks, especially because Eglantine feels so positively about this relationship; I'm not quite sure how I would CW this in subject headers but if anyone absolutely needs me to tag this, I can come up with one - and ofc let me know if you want to opt out of hearing about it ICly, though given how central this relationship is to Eglantine's whole character, I can only downplay mentions of it and am not able (or inclined!) to completely excise it from her characterization.

BACKTAGGING: Absolutely! It's how I do most of my threading.

THREADHOPPING: I LOVE... THREADJACKING!!! All I ask if that there's something serious and plotty going on that you please ask me first.

FOURTHWALLING: Mild fourth-wall leaning is fine (commenting ICly on jamjar/DWRP game mechanics & conventions, etc), full fourth wall breakage and canon puncturing ("surprise, you're fictional") is a no!
