The Strangers – Chapter 2 is an upcoming American horror film directed by Renny Harlin, and written by Alan R. Cohen and Alan Freedland. It stars Madelaine Petsch and is the fourth film in The Strangers film series. It is the second installment of a new trilogy of films, and the direct sequel to The Strangers: Chapter 1.
The film is set to be released on September 26, 2025.

Production
[edit]Principal photography on all three films commenced over 52 days in September 2022 in Bratislava, Slovakia,[4] and wrapped in November 2022.[5][6]
According to Harlin, Chapter 2 and Chapter 3 went in a different direction than the first film, while covering Petsch's character over a span of four days after her encounter.[6]
Release
[edit]The Strangers – Chapter 2 is scheduled to be released in the United States on September 26, 2025, taking over the release of Saw XI.[3] It was originally scheduled to release in late 2024.[7]
Sequel
[edit]The final installment of the trilogy titled The Strangers: Chapter 3, will be released on an unspecified date.[8]
