Description
English: Studio of J. Alden Weir, American impressionist painter, in the Branchville, Connecticut section of Ridgefield, Connecticut, just north of the border with Wilton, Connecticut. Weir bought the farmhouse in 1881 and later built his studio just behind it. View is looking north at the studio building. The Weir farm is now a National Historic Site operated by the National Park Service of the United States.
