Ulquiorra was brought into the Kurosaki family as a small child, left at the clinic in a near dead condition, his old family having died in a car accident. Since Isshin always wanted to have a son, and since Masaki was far too kind to just leave him on his own they adopted him. Afterward he grew up smoothly under the family environment, becoming friends with Tatsuki Arisawa, and having the best of times in his life. However, tragedy decided to strike again as the hollow Grand Fisher attacked and killed Masaki while Ulquiorra and her were on a walk. Masaki defended Ulquiorra as there was no way he could have defended himself. At that time though, Ulquiorra's spiritual awareness had awakened and his powers burst out of his control in his anger and sadness, scaring off the hollow before it could eat Masaki's spirit. Ulquiorra passed out and the next time he woke he was in the clinic with his grieving family.
Due to this event Ulquiorra became introverted and avoided saying unnecessary things. Due to his burst that day his reiatsu scarred black lines under his eyes like tears. Despite his attitude he still came to gain friends like Chad and Orihime. He never quite understood how he came to be friends with Orihime at first, other than her being Tatsuki's friend, but over time he became close friends with all three of them. Bullies often would pick on Orihime and insult Ulquiorra for his "crying scars" but him, Chad, and Tatsuki would always beat them away with ease. Of course as he also had the ability to see ghosts he became friends with some, intrigued with them and often beating down the trashy punks who desecrated resting places.
Then one night in his 2nd year in High School, he spotted Rukia Kuchiki passing through his walls. He was quick to grab her attention, and she was of course shocked that he could see her, but as they were conversing a hollow attacked downstairs. Ulquiorra went to rush towards the hollow, before getting captured by Rukia's kido. Unamused by this and determined to not let tragedy strike again he broke out of the binds and rushed to the scene of the hollow attacking Karin and Yuzu, Rukia jumping in to attack the monster while Ulquiorra moved them away from the scene. When he returned Rukia was in dire trouble, and refusing to leave it at that he charged to attack the monster, having a freakishly high endurance against its attacks, but was still no match to take it down. Rukia decided then that he would give him her powers, to which he agreed so that he could protect his family. With that he gained a large zanpakutoh far larger than normal proportions and swiftly cut down the hollow.
For the next few weeks, Rukia ran him ragged to fight off Hollows. The first of many being the fight between Inoue's brother and purifying the hollow, this fight awakening Orihime and Tatsuki's spiritual awareness after seeing the fight. Then he defeated a Hollow that was a Serial killer in his past life, the fight awakening Chad's spiritual awareness and sent the Hollow to hell. Things only got more complicated when Kon and Ishida was let into the picture. After cleaning up the fiasco that was Kon's rebellion and Ishida attracting Hollows for an insipid duel, the daily routine set back into play of fighting hollows and attending classes. Eventually, on the anniversary of his mother's death, when everyone went to her grave: the Hollow Grand Fisher returned, doing his usual hunting of women and seeing a chance to pay back Ulquiorra for stealing his meal. The battle seemed one sided, Ulquiorra being beaten aside by Grand Fisher, eventually in his rage his power burst like a geyser and Ulquiorra struck a strong blow to Grand Fisher and forced the hollow to retreat.
From this point onwards, it follows the same path as Bleach up until the latest chapter, with Ulquiorra sitting in Ichigo's place, and Ichigo being the Cuatro Espada: Tutelo Mirlo (Guardian Blackbird). However as his Bankai allows for greater endurance and his mask only boosts that, he was on an even enough level with Tutelo to avoid being pierced and going into a freak hollow hybrid. As a result Tutelo was instead smacked aside by Yammi's Ressuraccion and incapacitated instead of killed. As a result he's been healed and captured.
Zanpakutoh
Shikai: Koumoriyoru (Night Bat): A large black curved blade with a small outcropped blade in the middle of the dull side, making it look Similar to a wing. The effect is "Denkou Mori" (Lightning Lance) when swung a narrow blast of energy shoots forward, exploding on impact if not just cutting directly through something.
Bankai: Kyouaku Koumoriyoru (Fiendish Night Bat): A black coat forms around Ulquiorra's torso, with the coat tail splitting into two ends shaped like bat wings, and the inside lining of the coat is a teal color. The blade itself reduces to a small black Katana and the guard becomes the shape of a bat head. In Bankai Ulquiorra's speed and Endurance increases dramatically and the blast of "Denkou Mori" becomes much larger and a deep blueish-black color, the large impacting explosion however is a green color.
