May. 30th, 2022 11:54 pmI apparently haven't posted like two years... That's how things go sometimes huh. Been more active on discord lately.
Oh yeah, I don't think I've posted about it on here, but I've got an ongoing Digimon fanfic over on AO3.
See What's Real and a collection of side stories set in the same AU, See What's Real Gaiden
A Daisuke-focused, Daisuke-narrated story set in an AU where Daisuke can see ghosts, where Miyako died and became a ghost, where Daisuke, Iori and Miyako never met their Digimon partners, where Takeru and Hikari are fighting the Digimon Kaiser alone, and where Ken starts dating Daisuke for information-gathering purposes but slowly begins to grow attached.
I'm finding that it's actually really hard to write a story that I've already published chapters of online... It feels like there's some kind of a mental block preventing me from actually writing this story, but also pressure to keep writing it for the people who've read and liked it. Everytime I feel like writing it's only other WIPs than this one. I've only published stories I've finished before posting them before this one. How do other fanfic writers deal with this?
In other news, I've been obsessed with Akazukin Chacha, the obscure 90s magical girl show, or rather, the manga of it. The manga scanlations of it haven't updated in three years, so I've been translating chapters for my own purposes for fun. It'd be nice to release them, but I don't want to get involved with any kind of scanlation drama... Maybe I could just release the text translations on their own.
